David's Seventh Birthday

This year it was so nice to have David's birthday fall on a Saturday. I woke up and made David his special birthday breakfast that he requested and surprised him with cinnamon rolls. As you will see in the pictures, Simon loved them. We really do try to teach the kids table manners.....but, what can you do. After breakfast, Dave told David to get ready to go to work and lead him outside where his brand new bike awaited him. He was so excited! The bike is a little bit bigger than the old one, but he got the hang of it in no time. He practiced hard for the race that afternoon. His party started at 3:00, and he had some of his friends from school come over with their bikes. I set up a race course around the property and they raced all afternoon. It was so cool to see David and his friends, He is getting so big. His maturity level has gone up so much in last year, seeing him at the party with all his friends really exemplified that. I took lots of pictures of all the key events so I will let the pictures speak for themselves. We really missed, Great Grandpa and Uncle Jon and Aunt Christina this year. This is the first time in Seven years they weren't able to make it. But we know where they all are and we look forward to seeing them again. Enjoy the pictures, the party was a blast.
